Scott Sweetland is an engineering and sales executive with more than 37 years experience.  Scott retired after 11 years service from BAE Systems in June of 2020.

 

At BAE, Scott was most recently the Strategy Director for Advanced Electronics for the Electronic Combat Solutions business area in Nashua, NH.  Prior to that Scott was the Director of the Advanced Microwave Products Center where he was the business leader for Advanced GaN/GaAs amplifier products and III-V Foundry for the Electronic Combat Solutions business.  Prior to that Scott was the Technical Director for RF Microelectronics in FastLabsTM, located in Merrimack, NH.

Scott came to BAE Systems after a 20-year career (mostly in Sales and Executive Management) in Wireless Telecom, where he was part of two successful start-ups in the Wireless Backhaul space; Ceragon and Innova both of which became successful NASDAQ Corporations. Scott served as President and also as VP Sales and Chief Visionary Officer and was a board member of Ceragon in his 9 years at the company.  He previously consulted for Avian Securities, an investment firm in Boston as a wireless expert. Scott has a BSEE from UMASS Amherst and an MBA from Southern NH University

George Black is a sales and marketing professional with more than 37 years experience in various roles including the last 5 years as North East Region Sales Manager for Qorvo, a position he retired from in August 2020. Qorvo is the merger of TriQuint and RFMD. 
 
Prior to that, George was in the same position for TriQuint for 10 years; and, after being named region manager of the year in 2013, was competitively selected by Qorvo to continue as RSM at the end of 2014.  George has had various industry positions, including sales director for AWR software, manager, where he developed an approach that allowed his area to have the largest percentage growth in North America in 2005. 
 
George has also worked at Temic (an Atmel company) as North American business development manager selling SiGe foundry and components.  George has had a number of other successful industry marketing and sales roles. 
 
Prior to getting into the RF and microwave industry, George was honorably discharged from the US Army with a rank of Captain; while in the Army, George flew and maintained helicopters.   George has a MS in Business Administration from Boston University and a  BS from UC Berkeley
